My son and I stayed near Grand Island for 4 nights and ate hear 2 of the nights. Very clean and classy restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. I'm not a fan of pizza, but their pizza was great. They also have great specials like whole friend grouper or snapper. Owners are a German couple who use fresh herbs from their garden. They are very inviting and can share good info about the area. The meal may take a little longer to arrive, but it's well worth the wait. This is a great experience as long as your not in a rush. I didn't see any other restaurants within a 100 km radius that were as clean and/or as good as this place.
The food here is great. After a long day at the beach you could enjoy a tasty pizza or fresh fish sourced locally. The view on the back yard is mesmerising. Only trying the Tiramisú it is worth the trip.
The Quijote is a Gem hidden in plain sight. Good spot to sit down, relax and recharge before or after a long ride home, or to the beach ;) Good food, amazing view of the Cierra Llorona (mountains) and overall good atmosphere; the owners are very welcoming, and certainly know how to set up a place for travelers to feel welcome!
