This is a hidden gem in a secluded area of Panama. There are only 12 rooms on the property, owned by a Swiss expat. Incredible hospitality, the views are second to none, and prices are reasonable for this type of accommodation. The chef is from Venezuela and extremely talented. Great gourmet meals and butler-level service. Did I mention the infinity pool and welcome cocktail?! One of the most luxurious places that I have ever stayed at. Oh and they have a heli-pad in case you don’t want to drive here. If you are lucky you will get to meet the owner (Urs) and share some stories.
Our family hosted a party for our son at Ciel y Miel. This ocassion was VERY important to us. Ciel y Miel attended to every detail with outstanding attention and professionalism. The views are a showstopper; the food incredible-inclusive of the freshest vegetables, seafood, and the absolute best handmade pasta that we have ever had. Although this diamond of a resort is located in the middle of the jungle, it sits right on the Caribbean with ammenities that are on par with any metropolitan hotel. Do yourself a favor when visiting Panamá by including a stay at this 1st Class Eco Resort on your itinerary. Our family is very thankful to Ciel y Miel for providing us and more importantly our birthday boy, with an unforgettable experience. My wife and I had a 5 night getaway here. We were simply stunned by the incredible kindness of all the staff and their attention to detail in making our stay beyond a five star experience. Chef Pabón served up such incredible fare that even the best restaurants here in Colorado simply can't compare. To top it off they bake their own bread daily on site in the cutest bakery you've ever seen. Also beyond patient with my mangling of Spanish :) I honestly felt like I was leaving my family when we left. Thank you Jose Enrique, Jose, Pabón, Carlos, Carlos, Gennessy and anyone else we forgot to mention. Eres el mejor!
This lifestyle resort is a hidden gem and caters to refined clients and tastes. Getting to it is through a modest dirt road that any vehicle can manage but then rewards the visitor with a majestic view of the coast and the bays. The service is excellent, the cuisine is perfect and the management and staff are very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it for those who understand the value of well-being.
